How it works

One subscription covers your whole band

GigFrame licenses per band, not per musician. Your bandleader pays once, everyone in the band gets the features. Play in multiple bands? Each band has its own tier.

The band pays. Not you. When your band subscribes to Band or Pro, every member automatically gets access to band features — shared library, real-time sync, role-based parts — without paying anything themselves.

Play in multiple bands? You inherit the tier of each band you're in. In a Pro band on Saturday, a Free band on Sunday — you see the right features in each context.

Joining is always free. A musician never pays to join a band. Only the band admin needs to manage the subscription.

Personal library included. Every user gets a personal band during onboarding — a private space for your own songs. Free to upgrade independently.

AI Smart Import

AI credits explained

Photograph a paper chord sheet, screenshot another app, or upload a scanned PDF — AI converts it to a structured GigFrame file. Credits make it possible.

Monthly drip vs annual voucher: At signup you choose your delivery model. Monthly credits reset each month and unused credits expire after 3 months. Or choose the annual voucher: all credits upfront at 75% of the yearly total — fewer credits, but you get them immediately.

Example: Band tier gets 3 credits/month = 36/year. Choose the annual voucher instead and get 27 credits upfront, valid for 12 months — a tradeoff of quantity for immediacy.

Monthly drip

Credits arrive each month. Unused expire after 3 months. Best if you import steadily throughout the year.

Annual voucher (75%)

All credits upfront at signup, valid 12 months. Best if you want to import a large backlog right away.

FAQ

Is it per person or per band?
Per band. One subscription, the whole band benefits. Musicians joining multiple bands inherit each band's tier — in a Band-tier band they see Band features, in a Free band they see Free features. Joining any band is always free for the musician; only the band admin manages the subscription.
Does it work on iPhone?
GigFrame is Android-first. iPhone band members use the web companion at app.gigframe.app in Safari — no install needed. They can follow along with the setlist and view sheet music in real time. A full iPhone app is planned for the future.
What file formats are supported?
ChordPro, PDF, ASCII tab, Guitar Pro, and MusicXML. Import is never locked — even on the Free tier you can import any supported format. Your files are yours.
What happens when my 45-day trial ends?
After 45 days, your band reverts to the Free tier. Your songs and setlists stay — you don't lose any content. You just lose Band features (sync, shared library, role-based parts, web companion) until the band subscribes. No credit card required to start the trial.
Can I switch tiers?
Yes — upgrade or downgrade anytime. Upgrading unlocks features immediately. Downgrading keeps all your existing content but limits new features and creation caps. Songs, setlists, and annotations are never deleted on downgrade.
What are AI credits used for?
Credits power AI Smart Import: photograph a paper chord sheet with your camera, take a screenshot from another app, or upload a scanned PDF — GigFrame's AI converts it to a structured, transposable GigFrame file with chords and lyrics properly parsed. One import costs one credit.
